Sixter Tunnel
A unified secure tunneling and infrastructure management platform designed for containerized workloads, CI/CD automation, and cloud operations.
Stall Participants & Presenters
Overview
Traditional deployment environments require developers to independently configure networking, DNS, reverse proxies, application hosting, container runtimes, and infrastructure monitoring—introducing substantial friction and operational overhead.
Sixter Tunnel is an innovative, Go-based infrastructure management platform designed to simplify secure application connectivity, deployment, server administration, and cloud infrastructure operations. Unlike conventional tunneling solutions that primarily provide remote application exposure, Sixter aims to unify secure connectivity, application deployment, runtime management, and infrastructure orchestration within a single platform.
The solution targets developers, startups, MSMEs, and enterprises seeking scalable, cost-effective, and simplified infrastructure operations. By reducing deployment complexity and manual configuration, Sixter Tunnel aims to improve developer productivity, infrastructure accessibility, and operational efficiency.
Secure Tunneling & Networking
The platform enables applications hosted on local machines or private networks to be securely exposed through persistent WebSocket-based tunnels without requiring complex port forwarding or public IP configurations.
Key networking capabilities include:
- WebSocket-Based Tunnels: Persistent, secure tunneling from private networks to public domains.
- Traffic Forwarding & Subdomain Routing: Seamless HTTP and WebSocket traffic forwarding with automated subdomain-based routing.
- DNS & Reverse Proxy Integration: Integrated DNS management, automated HTTPS/TLS support, and Nginx reverse proxy management.
Centralized Management with Sixter Repo & AMM Runtime
- Sixter Repo: Provides centralized application deployment and management, including project uploads, application execution, remote terminal access, tunnel control, and real-time server monitoring.
- AMM Container Runtime: A custom application and container runtime designed to manage workload execution using Linux process management, optional filesystem isolation, and kernel-enforced CPU and memory resource controls.
CI/CD Automation & Future Roadmap
The platform is being extended toward an integrated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) architecture that connects source-code management, automated builds, testing, container execution, deployment, DNS routing, and monitoring.
Future enhancements include:
- Full OCI (Open Container Initiative) compatibility
- Multi-node orchestration and seamless cloud provider integration
- Intelligent load balancing and centralized infrastructure security policies
