Operating under the guiding motto “From Kural to Kernel”, TNAIA bridges Tamil Nadu’s deep philosophical and cultural heritage—symbolized by the Thirukkural—with modern computing systems and foundational AI architectures.

Officially launched at the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, TNAIA serves as a neutral ecosystem catalyst designed to accelerate responsible AI adoption, build high-impact technical talent, and foster homegrown deep-tech innovation across Tamil Nadu.
